Stephanie Trick Concert

A special concert will take place on Sunday, November 15 in Hodges Hall at The Willows. Stephanie Trick, an amazing rag and concert pianist, will perform. Stephanie Trick grew up with the piano in Saint Louis, Missouri. She went through Principia Lower and Upper Schools, and then went to the University of Chicago to study music.

Stephanie is on a California tour to end at the West Coast Ragtime Festival in Sacramento just before Thanksgiving. Her concert will demonstrate what a unique professional musician she is and promises to be great fun for audience and performer alike.

Veterans' Luncheon

Residents and Friends of The Willows are invited to honor Willows’ Veterans at a special luncheon on November 11 in The Willows’ Dining Room. Lunch will be followed by a talk by Kim Schuette author of a book about Christian Science Chaplains In the Armed Services.

Las Concordias Welcomes Stephanie Trick

Rag pianist virtuoso Stephanie Trick of St. Louis, Missouri, will be the Las Concordias speaker on Tuesday, November 17. See also the article about Stephanie's Concert on Sunday, November 15th.

The Off-Campus Committee is planning a trip on Thursday, November 12 to the Autry National Center, which includes exhibits from western movies, a gallery showing how these movies were made, and a studio set of an Old Western town .

The Orange County Institutional Committee

The Orange County Institutional Committee, supported by our local churches, provides Christian Science Chaplains and church services to four Orange County jails. The basket on the desk near the window in Hodges Hall is where Willow residents can put literature.


Employees Christmas Fund

The Willows residents have always set aside the period from October 1 through November 30 of each year to show our gratitude for all the workers who make our living here so great. It is time again to start thinking about how much we appreciate those who work at The Willows.

Contributions must be made BEFORE November 30.
