Headlines from February 2010

You will find more details about all event schedules on the "Upcoming Events" page for the month.

Healing Hymns
Jane Morton

Two of our newest residents are Wendy Manker and her aunt, Suzy Hameline. Wendy, having played the piano since four, was a music major at UCLA, and a Music and General Education Teacher for the Goleta School District.

What a natural to have her lead the Hymn Sings every third Saturday in the Garden Room! Just as the writer, Wendy knows the healing power of singing hymns together. Suzy is her everpresent sidekick for practicing the hymns.

The Bermudez Triangle - update: Cancelled

The scheduled Board Program for February 25, 2010, now features Rob Verdi, saxophonist. His show's entertaining and enlightening presentation recognizes the contributions of legendary artists and the songs they popularized.

More information on the Upcoming Events page.

HO Gauge Train Set
Ed Harris

An HO gauge train set has been donated to the residents of The Willows. All are welcome to come to Villa 129 anytime to play with this train set.

This train layout is for everyone, grandchildren, great grandchildren, adult children and US! It is OK to see how fast the train will go and crash! Everything can be fixed :-)
