Powering the future
by Joyce Dronsfield
Phil Collins, Professor of Physics at U.C. Irvine, and a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Laguna Beach, will be explaining the various technologies such as petroleum, coal, gas, wind power, nuclear fuel, and sunlight from which we derive energy. He will help us consider how to bridge the gap between our metaphysical knowledge that supply is infinite, and the current general concern that supply is running out.
Join us for Professor Collins' talk "Powering The Future" on February 26, at 4 PM (Board Night).
