March 2010

Can you believe it’s March 2010 already? There will be a time change this month, so the days will appear longer (or at least that is the way it seems). We know days are never really longer. Amazing, isn’t it, how things are not always as they seem?

But some things around here are what they seem. The beauty of the roses will soon be evident. I for one, always cringe when they are pruned, and how beautiful they are when they burst forth in their first blooms. Don’t you just love it?

The rain (which they tell us will continue into spring) has brightened the hillsides and washed everything clean, but it also has a way of leaking into some of our villas. The roofers, along with our own crew, have been very busy mending those spots.

The ducks are back, so we know spring is imminent. Could you all help chase them away from the pool area when you see them? That will help keep the patio clean. They usually stay until the eggs hatch, and the proud “mom” can parade her new offspring around the campus.

If you know anyone who might like to receive our newsletter, please let the office know. We would love to share it with anyone interested.

Let’s all spring forward, stay dry, and express gratitude for all the good we have received. I know my “cup runneth over,” especially if I leave it outside during these rains!
