The Administrator's Column
December 2009
The holiday festivities are upon us! Tree trimming, company from everywhere, delicious meals and partying are all part of the season. What is it Mrs. Eddy says about spending quiet time at Christmas? I always love rereading her book, What Christmas Means to Me during this season.
We continue to have our comings and goings at The Willows. I assume rotation in office can apply to rotation in houses. We always miss those who move on and are delighted with those new faces who move in. What a joy it is to have folks say that they feel so much love the moment they drive through the gates here.
The Christmas lights are up and ready to glow. The trees are going up and are being decorated at this printing. Sorting through decorations, integrating what we have with new ideas is always part of the challenge and fun.
Speaking of gates, I hope you have noticed that the front entrance fence and gates have been painted. We continue our on-going maintenance of The Willows to keep “your home” in good repair. The pool will be warm and ready for swimming when you read this. A new pool heater has been installed to keep all you swimmers toasty when it is chilly outside.
Get yourself ready for the New Year with good new thoughts. We are putting off the “old man and putting on the new” in consciousness. So, 2010, here we come, ready or not!
