December 2008
December, the last month of 2008 is here. What joy we have as we look forward to this season, keeping our thought focused on the true spiritual meaning of Christmas. We are so blessed to have Christian Science and the depth of understanding that it brings into our lives. Science is our true gift, isn't it?
The guest houses "runneth over" for the holiday weekend. We are grateful for the activity. So much good is going on around here. I appreciate so much the joy and vitality that each of you expresses. You are all a gift to me and everyone else here.
You'll be seeing my sister here helping with the decorating, so we'll have all the buildings looking festive. Joy will fill the air and love will abound. The Candlelight Dinner on December 5 is a little early this year due to other scheduling. Be sure to get your reservations in. You'll have a choice of prime rib or lobster with a cost of only $20.00 Get your table together and be ready to enjoy a wonderful meal and sweet entertainment. (See cover story.)
The next Willows' movie and popcorn date is December 6 at 3 pm. The movie will be White Christmas. I know you Californians can't relate to that, but because I come from the Midwest, it is very significant to me. It is a sweet traditional Christmas movie that I hope you all will enjoy.
I'll close with a thought for the holiday. Remember to keep your shopping to a minimum and your reflecting of love to a maximum. Enjoy every moment! Have a blessed Christmas and a precious New Year.
