The Administrator's Column
August 2010
We’re rolling through August with several new friends joining us. It is great to see new faces around the campus.
The gates will be repaired this week. The swimming pool resurfacing takes place the end of October. We continue to monitor water usage for irrigating the property. Those rates will continue to escalate. Rosalio keeps a close watch on those sprinklers. If you see one malfunctioning, please alert the office.
The ice-cream social will be coming up on August 28th. Randy Woltz will entertain us with his great piano playing. This year the time is different, so make a note, as it will be at 4:00 p.m. Randy will play for over an hour, so come and join the fun and music.
We’re expecting the split-rail fence to be replaced soon. Two young fellows who want to earn their Eagle Scout Badge have contacted us and are getting ready to finish this fencing project. Won’t we be grateful?
We enjoy hearing the children splashing in the pool as they visit relatives and the families stay in guest houses. The children and visitors bring such joy to The Willows. All of you who live here add to the loving atmosphere that I hear people speak about. It is such a pleasure to live and work in this precious place.
Enjoy the rest of summer, stay cool, smile a lot, and join me as we welcome all of our newcomers!
