May has just zipped by with so many activities taking place.
The House & Garden Tour was a success. We displayed homes to over 100 people. Carol from the office made the delicious cookies and brownies. Everyone that participated enjoyed thoroughly seeing the many different ways the various homes could be decorated. It was a beautiful day. The staff enjoyed preparing the grounds and buildings for our visitors. Thanks to each of you who participated. Tuttles' Carpet One and Beacon Carpet contributed financially to the event. We thank them also.
June will be bringing some people moving in who have lived here before and some new people also. So you will be seeing familiar faces around in addition to new ones.
Thanks to all of you for the many cards and notes of congratulations and for the lovely reception which the residents are giving us on May 30. Dick and I fell so blessed to be living in this precious community.
